ChefDK
/Stable Releases
ChefDK was first shipped in 2014 and on December 31, 2020, reach end-of-life status. ChefDK has since been replaced with Chef Workstation. To upgrade from ChefDK to Chef Workstation all you need to do is install the Chef Workstation download package from the list. The Chef Workstation package will replace your existing ChefDK installation, and you'll be ready to enjoy all the new functionality provided in Chef Workstation.
Note: Chef Workstation was launched in 2018 and has replaced ChefDK, which reached end-of-life at the end of 2020. For legacy users, we've made the ChefDK download available here, but we strongly recommended ChefDK users upgrade to Chef Workstation as soon as possible in order to ensure their systems are not compromised by known CVEs that exist in ChefDK and take advantage of significant new features.
