Barry Crist has more than 20 years of experience in driving enterprise customer success and adoption with both open source and DevOps software solutions. Prior to joining Chef, he was an Executive-in-Residence at Ignition Partners, a Chef investor.

Adam Jacob

CTO

Adam Jacob is a co-founder of Chef and the creator of Chef. Prior to Chef, he founded HJK Solutions, an automated infrastructure consultancy. During two years at HJK, he built new infrastructures for 15 different startups.

Evan Fein

CFO

Evan Fein brings more than 25 years of financial management experience to Chef, having led several public and private equity financings and numerous debt financings.

Ryan Ried is the Senior Vice President of Sales at Chef Software. In this role, Ryan is responsible for the company’s worldwide sales and field operations.

Corey Scobie is Senior Vice President of Products and Engineering at Chef Software, where he is responsible for the roadmap and delivery of Chef’s enterprise automation portfolio including infrastructure automation, compliance automation and application automation.

Kimberly Martin leads Chef’s Business Development and Partner business including Cloud Platform partners (AWS, Microsoft, Google, Alibaba) , SI/VAR, ISV, and Strategic Alliances. She is also responsible for Partner Engineering efforts.

Jenny Armstrong-Owen comes to Chef with more than 25 years of experience in developing and aligning HR strategy to the business, having most recently served as vice president of people, environment and culture at Impinj.

Joshua Crossman

Joshua Crossman leads Chef’s Customer Success and Services teams, including Customer Engineering, Professional Services, and Customer Success.

Katie Long

VP, Legal

Katie Long leads the Chef legal team, handling both internal and external legal matters for the company. She brings to Chef a reputation for being an action-oriented legal partner who brings not only legal acumen, but also a keen eye towards larger business issues.

Mark Dooley is the Vice President of Sales and General Manager for the EMEA region.

Alex Benik

Battery Ventures

Alex joined Battery in 2001 and currently works out of the firm’s Boston office. From 2001 through 2006, he was based in Menlo Park. Alex focuses on investments in infrastructure technologies for enterprises, data centers, and wired/wireless service providers.

John Connors

Ignition

John Connors joined Ignition as a Partner in 2005. He invests principally in business software and services. Prior to joining Ignition, John spent sixteen years at Microsoft Corporation in several strategic roles.

Rory O’Driscoll is a founding member and Partner at Scale Venture Partners. An active investor for the past 20 years, Rory is focused on early-in-revenue software companies benefiting from the move to Software as a Service and the wider transition of enterprise computing to the cloud.
