Barry Crist

CEO

Barry Crist has more than 20 years of experience in driving enterprise customer success and adoption with both open source and DevOps software solutions. Prior to joining Chef, he was an Executive-in-Residence at Ignition Partners, a Chef investor.

Adam Jacob

CTO

Adam Jacob is a co-founder of Chef and the creator of Chef. Prior to Chef, he founded HJK Solutions, an automated infrastructure consultancy. During two years at HJK, he built new infrastructures for 15 different startups.

Curt Anderson

CFO

Curt Anderson brings more than 20 years of finance, marketing, and operations experience to his role as Chef CFO, where he leads the Finance, Business Operations, Human Resources, and Legal teams.

Ken Cheney

CMO

Ken Cheney leads Chef’s global marketing strategies including brand, product marketing, corporate communications and go-to-market execution.

Alex Benik

Battery Ventures

Alex joined Battery in 2001 and currently works out of the firm’s Boston office. From 2001 through 2006, he was based in Menlo Park. Alex focuses on investments in infrastructure technologies for enterprises, data centers, and wired/wireless service providers.

Bill Bryant

William K. (Bill) Bryant has had early and instrumental involvement in over twenty leading software and Internet companies, as a founder, senior executive, investor and Board Member.

John Connors

Ignition

John Connors joined Ignition as a Partner in 2005. He invests principally in business software and services. Prior to joining Ignition, John spent sixteen years at Microsoft Corporation in several strategic roles.

Rory O'Driscoll

Scale Venture Partners

Rory O’Driscoll is a founding member and Partner at Scale Venture Partners. An active investor for the past 20 years, Rory is focused on early-in-revenue software companies benefiting from the move to Software as a Service and the wider transition of enterprise computing to the cloud.
