Adam Jacob


Adam Jacob is a co-founder of Chef and the creator of Chef. Prior to Chef, he founded HJK Solutions, an automated infrastructure consultancy. During two years at HJK, he built new infrastructures for 15 different startups.

Curt Anderson brings more than 20 years of finance, marketing, and operations experience to his role as Chef CFO, where he leads the Finance, Business Operations, Human Resources, and Legal teams.

Ryan Ried is the Senior Vice President of Sales at Chef Software. In this role, Ryan is responsible for the company’s worldwide sales and field operations.

Kimberly Martin leads Chef’s Business Development and Partner business including Cloud Platform partners (AWS, Microsoft, Google, Alibaba) , SI/VAR, ISV, and Strategic Alliances. She is also responsible for Partner Engineering efforts.

Alex joined Battery in 2001 and currently works out of the firm’s Boston office. From 2001 through 2006, he was based in Menlo Park. Alex focuses on investments in infrastructure technologies for enterprises, data centers, and wired/wireless service providers.

William K. (Bill) Bryant has had early and instrumental involvement in over twenty leading software and Internet companies, as a founder, senior executive, investor and Board Member.

John Connors


John Connors joined Ignition as a Partner in 2005. He invests principally in business software and services. Prior to joining Ignition, John spent sixteen years at Microsoft Corporation in several strategic roles.
