Today we are excited to support the launch of Azure DevOps (formerly Visual Studio Team Services and Team Foundation Server).

Chef Extension for Azure DevOps

The Chef extension for Azure DevOps enables users within organizations to integrate Chef into the build and release phases of their DevOps toolset; specifically, the Azure Pipelines component of the Azure DevOps Suite. Moreover, we have used Azure Pipelines to build these extensions!

Habitat Extension for Azure DevOps

Additional Habitat Integrations for Azure

Earlier this year we built new functionality into Habitat that allows for users to natively export artifacts into Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and Azure Container Registry (ACR). The plugins for Azure Pipelines coupled with Habitat’s ability to output into AKS and ACR provides a seamless experience for Habitat users to refactor and re-architect applications as part of their migration efforts into Azure.
