Today I’m very pleased to announce the availability of Chef Server 12.7.0 for IBM Power Systems on Linux. This marks the first time Chef Server will be generally available (GA) for Ubuntu 14.04 (little endian) and Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.1 (big endian and little endian).

The packages are available from our stable yum and apt repositories (setup instructions here) and our downloads page.

We would like to acknowledge all of the teams and people at IBM that helped make this release a reality, particularly Scott Garfinkle and Daniel Hershberger for their tireless debugging help.
