Certified: Lenovo CNOS Cookbook

I’m delighted to announce that Lenovo is now part of the Chef Partner Cookbook Program. They have certified the Lenovo CNOS Cookbook.

Lenovo CNOS cookbook

The Lenovo CNOS cookbook provides a set of recipes and resources for managing Lenovo switches. The cookbook provides resources to upload images, upload/download configurations, and VLAN provisioning. The recipes use the CNOS Ruby APIs to communicate with the switch operating system. Lenovo customers in design and operations departments will use it to reduce the time and resources required to provision and configure production switches.

About Lenovo

Lenovo offers the cost-effective future-ready ThinkSystem RackSwitch 10G-100Gb data center Ethernet switches for servers and storage with low-latency and energy efficiency combined with the advanced Lenovo (CNOS) Cloud Network OS. They are built on the latest, most efficient switch hardware which serves as a strong platform for CNOS to provide scalable leaf/spine optimized data center connectivity and tuned to best support Lenovo data center servers and storage solutions. Having open interfaces to industry standard tools is key to success in a hybrid data center that wants to avoid single vendor lock-in.
