We’re big proponents of bringing compliance and security into the development process early and often. As it turns out, so is the Federal Trade Commission (FTC). During the FTC’s “Start with Security” event in Seattle, our own Julian Dunn will join panelists from DocuSign and Socrata for “Integrating Security into the Development Pipeline”. Here’s a synopsis:
How can startups effectively integrate security testing and review into their development processes when they may be hiring new engineers at a rapid clip, experiencing exponential user growth, and shipping code frequently? This panel will discuss how security testing can be automated and adapted in startup environments.
The event will take place at the University of Washington School of Law, beginning at 9:30 a.m. on February 9, and running until 4 p.m. A full schedule and panelist biographies can be found on the event’s webpage. “Start with Security” is free and open to the public.
