The tomcat cookbook has seen a lot of interest recently and has a relatively large number of pull requests open against it. We want to pare down that number and give the community a chance to help steer the direction of the cookbook. Come join us on Google Hangouts for a public hack session on Wednesday, August 6th, 2014 from 12:00–16:00 PDT (2014–08–06 19:00–23:00 UTC). Five minutes before starting, we will post a link on the @chef Twitter account and in #chef on irc.freenode.net.

During the hack session, we will focus on merging pull requests and adding tests to identify known issues. The hangout is scheduled for four hours but any time you can spend is appreciated.
