You’re all welcome to Chef’s new HQ

You may have seen the news about our new Seattle work space.  It sits on the Seattle waterfront across from what was Pier 52 and is now the Coleman Dock and home to West Seattle, Bainbridge, and Vashon ferries. We’re nestled in a perfect spot between downtown and the historic Pioneer Square neighborhood of Seattle.  The waterfront is undergoing a significant upgrade as the elevated Highway 99 viaduct is being torn down and replaced with a tunnel.

We’re thrilled both about our new digs and and our tremendous 2014 neither of which would have happened without our tremendous Community, customers, partners, and employees. Thank you all!

The same way that CHEF is an open source company, our new offices our truly open – an open floor plan, no assigned offices, tons of collaborative lounges, an awesome café, and, of course, a big kitchen. We wanted a space that reflected Chef’s spirit and the foundation of our Community.

Now that we’re officially moved in, we’d like to invite all of you in the extended Chef Community to join us for some work, conversation, and coffee, or just some beer from one of our two kegs and a lively game of ping pong.

So, come on by! Or better yet, host a hack or meetup at our HQ. Just ping a Chef, email us, call us, tweet us, or swing on by 619 Western Avenue in Seattle.

You can read more about our headquarters in Geekwire – including a video tour – and the Puget Sound Business Journal.

See you soon.
