HP partners with Chef for the continuous delivery of infrastructure and applications in the HP OpenStack™-based public cloud including:
- Managing the HP Cloud with Chef: Chef makes the deployment and management of OpenStack consistent and scalable. The HP Cloud Services team uses Chef Cookbooks to enable easy deployment and automation of the core components of OpenStack, including computing, object storage, virtual machine image services, dashboard, and identity.
- Chef is Directly Available to HP Cloud Customers: The Chef plugin enables users to work directly from the command line to create, bootstrap, and manage HP Cloud instances.
