, Opscode®, the
leader in cloud infrastructure automation, today announced that Gartner,
Inc.
, has named Opscode as a “Cool Vendor” in DevOps.
Opscode recently announced that it’s commercial customer base has surged into
the hundreds, with customers ranging from small and medium sized businesses to
Fortune 500 companies in Financial Services, Retail, Media and Entertainment,
Hi-Tech and Internet Services.

The Gartner report “Cool Vendors in DevOps, 2012,” published on April 19, 2012,

infrastructure management and automation as enterprises begin to re-platform
their IT infrastructure,” said Jay Wampold, vice president of marketing,
