The decision to promote ChefDK to 1.0 was made with input from the community at the 2016 Chef Community Summit in Seattle – a reflection of ChefDK’s maturity and stability. Chef Client 12.14.60 – Escaped defects and corrective actions

PackageCloud Repositories Disabled, Please Migrate to packages.chef.io

As previously announced we’ve disabled our PackageCloud APT/YUM repositories for the current and stable release channels effective today. Please migrate to the equivalent packages.chef.io repository as documented on docs.chef.io. The latest versions of the apt-chef or yum-chef cookbooks will automate this repo configuration for you.

Chef Compliance 1.0 is now available from the Chef downloads site. This is a major release update which is recommended for all users of Chef Compliance.  We enhanced capabilities for Chef Compliance to enable automated management of compliance policies that are based on the broadly used Center for Internet Security (CIS) benchmarks.
